TBCS General Meeting: Tuesday, September 20, 2005

Attendance: 93

Member Drawings - These drawings are for All Members who attend the meeting. Showing your current TBCS membership card entitles you to several drawings at each meeting. Those famous Blue Tickets!

C-Drive Drawing - Tickets for this drawing are given to anyone who donates to the community food pantries, either with staple food items or with monetary donations.  The drawing is open to anyone in attendance.

The "C" in C-Drive stands for cans. (That's not a secret !!)
Proceeds for the C-Drive Drawing were $9 and 18 staple food items.  Thank you, all of you who contributed.

NAME TAG DRAWING --  To encourage attendees to get to know one another, we are encouraging everybody to wear some kind of name tag, originality encouraged!  Anyone, member or non-member, who wore a readable name tag or whatever, received a ticket for this new drawing.

Prizes for the above drawing included: two pairs of "laptop legs" (which tilt the laptop toward the user), a card reader, a swivel pad, one FlipAlbum Suite 4.0 software, a USB hub, and some home and office useful stuff.

Special Drawing - This drawing is a fund-raiser and a fun-raiser. Usually, several quality items are offered for this drawing, allowing the winner to choose from these. The drawing is open to anyone who attends the meeting, member or not.

Special Drawing: This month, the prize chosen was: a TBCS quartz wall clock

50/50 Drawing - "50/50" means that the proceeds from ticket "donations" are divided between the winner and TBCS.

This month's winner received $25.50 and $25.50 went to TBCS.

Ink Cartridges and Cell Phones - Thank you to those who keep bringing in your empty ink cartridges and your no-longer-needed cell phones. A good number of these items come in continually. If possible, bring working chargers with the phones.  (We have a "home" for the cell phones, providing 911 assistance for battered spouses.)

Hey, hurry back!   See you at the October meeting, on the third Tuesday evening.  And that's on the 18th, this round.  Same place, same time.
